Get the SRAM chain if it's cheaper to buy it that way - if not, it doesn't really matter.

Run whatever ten speed chain is best value. I tend to run Decathlon branded KMC Sl 10 speed chains as they are cracking value. You can also run any Shimano Sram compatible cassette with the ratio you want. Basically any 10 speed chain and any non Campagnolo cassette.

Interesting Decathlon branded ?? usually change the 10 spd chain on the summer bike once a year.

Yep, comes in a Btwin box but kmc stamped links. I suspect it is actually the EL not the SL looking at the weight but still great value as fully branded even on offer they come in at north of £20

Wiggle showing it at £21 odd, so that`s a proper bargain ! Picked up a SRAM PC1091 last year for about £15 i recall from Ebay same place has them back up at £26, so good to see something fairly similar!

Ok, sorry for my ignorance but can someone explain the difference in these 3 please?

Do they basically all do the same job but are made of different materials/treated differently so that one is better than another somehow - in terms of durability maybe?

If so is this the order of worst to best? - X10 73, X10 93, X10 EL

I suspect although I haven't checked that the lighter the more expensive. Weight weenies are willing to pay to shave a few grams here and there.

The RRP on the EL is £44:00 @ 262 grams, the lightest chain is the SL RRP is £69:00 253 grams. £25 for a 9 gram saving.....
