She was decorum personified. Not a foul word will I hear against her .
I bet you heard a few from her though?

I am saddened to see Christy Moore's name anywhere near anyone remotely involved with Mrs Brown's Boys.

(OK, I've never seen a second of it, but the wikipedia entry backs up what I would have guessed from seeing a poster about it)>
I cannot disagree with the entry about critical review.

If anyone knows of past Scottish Newsreaders, I got the autograph of STV's Angus Simpson when I was about 10 as he was opening our local Fayre.
The church I used to go to organised the fete every year in conjunction with the nearby Catholic Church. All great fun for a kid being able to help out with things!

It isn't recorded what happened to the autograph, but in other years it was people like the Radio Clyde 2 DJ Jimmy Mac and similar people, most I had never heard of.

Seemingly they don't do the fete any more which is a real shame.

In the run up to Wilko's 'death' he was in a cafe/bar at the top of my street, so ordinary it was hard to believe he was indeed there, but there's no doubting it was Wilko because he was with my ultimate bass-guitar hero, Norman Watt-Roy, his drummer and one other person and we tried ever so hard to pretend we didn't know who they were! A couple of hours later, Wilko was playing his 'last ever show' at the Colne Muni and I have rarely seen the most emotional football crowds more emotional than we were that night. We weren't about to let him go and a huge chant grew to demand he came back after his second encore but, as pointed out, this was a blues festival and there were more acts required to play. What a terrific day that was. Very emotional.

I was at the London shows and the atmosphere was the same.
His drummer is Dylan Howe. (Son of Steve)

I went to a fete opened by Bill Tarmey.
We met Willy Rushton when he sat in the same carriage as us on the West Somerset Railway.
Michael Le Vell took his daughter to the same open evening as us at Manchester High School. We knew where they were by the excited noises coming from the various class rooms on the tour.
We knew Lee Child before he was famous when he worked at Granada TV. Does that count?

I don't know who the others are (ok, I do now, thank you google). Lee Child is the only real celebrity in that list, IMHO. It counts.
