I don't like aniseed, so that one is out!Fennel ?
Salsify? Scorzonera? And definitely Romanesco - looks astonishing and tastes superbThat's the 3rd vegetable as-yet-untried by me to tempt me in the past couple of hours! Kale, chard, celeriac ... any others that I should add to my to-munch list?
You haven't tried chard on chickpeas in a tomato sauce? You haven't livedI'd give the chard a miss tbh
Celeriac mash is great

Naaah - they don't taste like oysters. More like a fragrant potato, with a wee bit of crunch. Lovely stuff - but a pain to prepare.I've never even heard of those ...
Salsify, Scorzonera ... 'oystery'. Oh, I don't like the sound of them!
Feel like a cauliflower in the mouth, but taste green and fresh. Gorgeous - cooked plain and lashings of butter.Ah - Romanesco - those very odd-looking vegetables! I have seen them on sale but didn't know what they were. I'll give that veg a go.
