Two of the storage heaters given their first seasonal blast last night at maximum input and output, rest will be done tonight, autumn/winter arrived suddenly yesterday in Hampshire!😱

Wood burner is gradually going out and French windows open to cool things down. You can’t beat cold, hot, very hot then back to cold.

I have underfloor heating and takes about 12 hours to warm the house. We have had a couple of days in October where we have turned it on. We put it on full time yesterday put turned the heat quite low.

The lounge thermostat is set at 19 degrees, and actually fired up the boiler on Friday. That's the first time this autumn.

Stayed off tonight though.
