Chainring bolts.

Hi,
Are chainring bolts a standard thing? One of mine has a broken head, on my road bike with double chainrings (130 bcd 5 arm.) so it needs drilling out and replacing. Would the LBS have one in stock do you think? Thanks for your time.

There are different sizes of chainring bolt, so if you are going to buy online measure a bolt first to get right size.

There are only a few standards and many are interchangeable, but that'll be no consolation if the actual ones you buy don't fir your actual chainrings.

It sounds as if, for you (no offense intended), a visit to the local bike shop might be the best bet.
