Hands inn pockets! Even in 1991 when I first joined, be seen in public with hands in pockets and you'd be up for an interview-without-coffee from the area commander, and wouldn't be forgiven until you'd made a donation to his favourite charity.

It amazes now me to see the number of coppers about who look an absolute disgrace. How can you garner respect from people going around like that?

About a year ago a woman in my running club joined the police aged 48 so we set up a bleep test to see what the entrance requirements were like, did the one on the right really pass the test?

The beep test isn't onerous. Thanks to equality laws it has to be reasonably passable by one legged tibetan nuns, which makes it disgracefully easy for normal people.

It's also pointless. In 26 years I never had to chase a villain back and forth adross a sports hall, so as a measure of anything useful it was wasted.

Accy you are not the only one causing trouble,mind you you did not cause the trouble,alas Postiman did last night.A restaurant here last night took piggin ages in serving us,only for my tenderloin pork to arrive cold,i made a fuss and sent it back.They never even said sorry at the end.We are not going back there tonight.Diplomatic talks are going on between our Governments right now to see that i don't get deported.I should not have said well we beat one of your lot in 68.
