Challegenged by Accy fuzz yesterday about my 'eratic driving'. I've now heard it was probably a case of mistaken ID!

There was five of them Drago, being with me for must've been going on for an hour! 🙄

And none of them had the balls to say, lads this isn't a drugged Rastafarian, we've farked up, let's let this dapper fellow get in with his day.

Hands inn pockets! Even in 1991 when I first joined, be seen in public with hands in pockets and you'd be up for an interview-without-coffee from the area commander, and wouldn't be forgiven until you'd made a donation to his favourite charity.

It amazes now me to see the number of coppers about who look an absolute disgrace. How can you garner respect from people going around like that?

Accy you are not the only one causing trouble, mind you you did not cause the trouble, alas Postiman did last night.A restaurant here last night took piggin ages in serving us,only for my tenderloin pork to arrive cold,i made a fuss and sent it back. They never even said sorry at the end.We are not going back there tonight.Diplomatic talks are going on between our Governments right now to see that i don't get deported.I should not have said well we beat one of your lot in 68.

One smart gent and two scruffy 'erberts - what is the Police Force coming to?

Those two played the good cop, bad cop game with me. The shorter one was all sympathetic, reassuring me that I'd be OK and it was just routine stuff, probably thinking why the feck are we doing this to him. The other one wasn't friendly at all, not telling me the negative breathalyser result till they got the drug test result 10 minutes after they did the test, when the breathalyser result would've been available immediately after doing it. Mind you, I did say to one of her colleagues that she looked like she might have a meat and two veg', which he probably told her!!!🧐

Or bad cop, worse cop. I've have tied them in knots.

Mind you, they dont get the training or experience. When I joined the dibble the average copper had 16 years in the job - now the average copper has only somewhat short of 4, and a lot get drafted off to CID or specialist ops departments before they've truly learned how to be a fed in the first place.

The causes are political so down that road I shall not tread, but suffice to say the average copper is now relatively inexperienced and the cadre of longer serving officers no longer exists to show them the way or lead by example. You've got the metaphorical blind leading the blind here.

I've now heard the real criminal, not me was spotted running along Abbey Street Accrington which adjoins the street I was apprehended on, after ditching his white Fiat 500, about the same time as plod stopped me. Now to reach me with their lights and sirens blaring they would've had to fly along Abbey Street to reach me. Surely they must've either spotted felon on the run, or his abandoned Fiat 500!!🤔
