I seem to recall they started it. Perhaps if they'd realised we were Royal Green Jackets, at the time with an unfortunate reputation for murdering people while abroad, they might have walked on by.

Just everyday wear. I went to see a GP the other evening. He asked if I was going on a date, because I had a suit on.😏

Just remembered. According to friend who said they were after a drug dealer, the white Fiat 500 he was in had a hard top, while as shown in my photo, my soft top had its roof down and also according to friend, the felon is a well known to the police Jamaican rasta! So, they mistook my off white soft top for a brilliant white hard top and mistook me for a Jamaican rasta man!!😏

Hands inn pockets! Even in 1991 when I first joined, be seen in public with hands in pockets and you'd be up for an interview-without-coffee from the area commander, and wouldn't be forgiven until you'd made a donation to his favourite charity.

It amazes now me to see the number of coppers about who look an absolute disgrace. How can you garner respect from people going around like that?
