Change of plan

Well the Coast and Castles ride never got off the ground.

The team are going to Amsterdam via the ferry at Hull. Well i am not available for that.

But two of us have put together a summer mini tour.

Based on a Sustrans route.

And i am organizing this so i am going.

Leeds-Scarborough,overnight stay.

Scarborough -Beverley-Market Weighton,Overnight stay.

Market Weighton-York-Leeds.

About 180 miles.In beautiful Yorkshire.I know it's not massive but we are really looking forward to it.

When the weatherman tells us "we are going to have four days of fine weather.

Sounds like a great mini tour Postman. I've often fancied loading the bike up and heading up towards Scarborough.

It doesn't have to be massive to be fun. My first tour was the 130 mile C2C and I've not forgotten the excited anticipation before the start, the enjoyment of the scenery (apart from the crawl up the appropriately named Crawleyside Bank) and the pleasure of completion as the sea at Sunderland came into view.

It will be a nice tour. Great scenery. Decent pubs and nice towns. You couldn't want for more.
