You forgot to add the following bit to your 'driving' section:

Drive to gym.
Park car.
Pay fee to use gym.
Get changed.
Exercise with other sweaty bodies in an enclosed space.
[omitting showering and changing back, as you would do that after cycling home - but after cycling you would do it in the comfort of your own home]
Drive home

There - both lists get you home after having had some exercise.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Sit in traffic watching wave after wave of cyclists passing by.
Stop to buy petrol.
Remember to pay congestion charge.

As opposed to
Get changed
Get on bike
Ride.
...the first one of which is strictly optional.

Actually, in the OP, the only one I bother with is turn on back light - but I do have to add unfold bike.

The only one that's caused me a problem, which you've missed off your list is
-transfer wallet from jacket pocket (on back of office chair) to pocket of something your wearing to take home, particularly if you aren't back in the office the next day!

I don't lock it at home or work

The lights are always on. Don't you love dynamos?

Whats Go Pro?

Whats strava?

Every ride.....What great countryside....good morning Mr badger.....just look at that scenery....MMmmmmm free brambles...I will just sit here quietly for a ten minutes.

Every morning....I slept really well last night darling.

Weekend.. Ive spent no petrol money this week. Lets go out for dinner.

It's entirely your choice to make it faffy. Switch to automatic dynamo lights, set the bike up to be ridden in street clothes, give up strava and gopro for the commute (you're not competing and videoing when you drive, are you?) and then it becomes:
Unlock bike;
Pedal.

What happened to tolerance?
Some of us like to use GoPros, or even feel the need to use them. Some of us don't have the option of leaving the bike unlocked. So setting up the camera, locking and unlocking the bike, etc. is just a normal part of the daily commuting routine, and nothing extraordinary.
