I have been tidying out the desk drawer in my home office.
amongst many other things, I have found several bank cards that expired up to 5 years ago - all of which were unsigned and not even validated.

I also found a cheque book - something I have not seen or used in many years. It reminded me how long it is since I have written a cheque

I am guessing that many younger people have never written a cheque or would know what to do with one. I wonder if I still have in my drawer a cheque guarantee card! Remember those?

I've often wished, that I'd saved all my old bank cards. Especially the old ones, the midland one which allowed £10 a time and the Access cards
They must be quite rare now, as we are told to destroy the old card before using the new one.

They must be quite valuable now to a collector.

I found a Yorkshire Bank card, at my parents house, that expired in 1993
