Housework is just dull. Not worthy of hating.
I quite enjoy cleaning windows, and bathrooms are OK, because clean windows (especially on a sunny day) and bathrooms have that super-shiny-zing-kerpow sort of way being clean that makes you feel like you've achieved something. I don't believe in ironing - last time the iron came out in this house was when I ironed a blouse to wear for for my friend's daughter's christening. Said daughter is now in Y3, so I guess must be 8.
Whenever I've lived on my own I've been very tidy. It doesn't work so well when I have to share space, and in doesn't help that our space (small 2 bed terrace with a yard the size of a table footbal pitch) is not very generous for 4 people and two cats. And 4 bikes.
I'm currently putting off emptying the cat litter tray, emptying the bins, sorting the recycling, fettling the clean laundry mountain into submission and many other taks. Footling in the interwebs and riding your bike is just much more interesting.....
