Panettone is what your thinking of and yes the mass made crap it’s dry as a bone.
Makes nice bread and butter pudding though.
In other news the lights are now up in town same ones in the same placers.
The 2 civic bog brushes have yet to arrive though. Who ever orders them every year clearly never seen what a good tree looks like.

Nothing wrong with the village pub. Mrs 26 is brilliant with Xmas din otherwise I'd be looking for a low key but pleasant spot.

Shop bought panettone is ghastly; wooly and over-perfumed. I always make my own, it's not that difficult.
