A very interesting piece, and not just for Londoners.

Note the various statistics on how cyclist involved, and cyclist to blame crashes occur. Note also the cynical use of a bike involved in a fatal collision by the Police.

(The bike was being used to illustrate the dangers of ignoring red lights - it had actually been crushed (and it's rider killed) by a lorry driver that failed to check his mirrors before turning into the cyclist and bicycle. The rider had not jumped the lights).

Using the remains of a bicycle on which the rider was killed - that's obscene. That's mediaeval. What next? Display the actual corpse of a road accident victim? !

Beats me.

I find it partiicularly sad that the message isn't "You're driving something big and heavy, watch what you're doing FFS", it's "Stay out of the way of the important cars and trucks, cyclsits"
