Wicked. Had a smile on my face the whole time while listening to this, accompanied by a feeling of sheer satisfaction.

Who said classical is dead, that is where it all began.

So talented!

The 'True Love Waits' album is really good, it is pianist Christopher O'Riley covering radiohead

I remember a group who did the college circuit in the mid-late 70's "The Fabulous Poodles". They did a fantstic punk version of "On The Street Where You Live". Can't find it on youtube but there is some of their stuff there.

Some pretty impressive playing there! It always makes me smile to see cellists start shedding hairs off the bow, shows they're really putting some welly in! Of course there are many ways of playing the cello.

"Classic", yes, I'm not sure about the "classical" in my books though. Give me the Elgar or Dvorak, or one of the Beethoven trios ...

Following from redjedi, how about a really acoustic version of London Calling.

Aargh, sorry but I really hate that plinky-plonky Christopher O'Riley stuff... both Brad Meldau and The Bad Plus have done far better jazz covers of Radiohead IMHO...
