Classic mobiles?

I had the 'Matrix' phone and the 8210, and the one after, assuming it was an 8310 lol

And somewhere along the line I had a Siemens phone that enabled you to create your own ringtones lol

I went from the 3310 to this thing of beauty, thought it was the coolest thing ever, my first phone with a proper colour screen.

I had one. Mrs SJ took over the Mars Bar when we both went mobile and I ended up with the breeze block. £150 second hand.

Incidently, she still has the same number (Albeit with the extra digit they added a few years ago) to this day. It must be one of the longest one owner numbers in existence.

I had one of these, the famed Sony "Mars Bar" as my first mobile when they came out in 1993. It cost £325 and the rental was just over £30 a month plus calls.

Wow, my first phone also, made me laugh when people would say "Why have you got a moble, or "Are you a drug dealer"

Remember the airial upgrade, 4 times the size of the phone O_o

I remember an old boss (company owner) walking in with his new phone in the 80's which looked pretty much identical to that..... I think he said something like £50 quid a month line rental and a £1.00 a minute (may be wrong but it was a crazy amount and he'd paid mega money for the phone as well.....)

I've still got the same number from my first vodafone contract in 1997.... I moved it Tmobile and now EE.... I did for short while carry 2 phones as Mrs V was on a different network when I met her and it was cheaper to have a second phone than pay cross network minutes!!!! ( we were both partway through contracts)

Until my new sony phone this year \I still had the same sim from 2000 when I joined 1-2-1 and often used this fact when haggling/complaining to tmobile.... I would say 'do you what it says on my sim card?...... Them.... 'No....Tmobile?' Me...... 'No Blooming 1-2-1 so sort it out NOW!!!!' and to be fair they normally did
