The tech doesnt scale up very well at the moment.
Some of the trade-press (namely Truck & Driver magazine) stated that it was generally easier to get a (standard) Private Pilots Licence, than attain a C+E (the old 'Class 1')I grew up in a lorry driving family, always had an interest in lorries, often thought I'd like to follow in my dad's footsteps and get my HGV licence, but I don't think I'd want to be a lorry driver anymore. So many rules and regulations and the roads are so busy compared to what they used to be.

It’s not something I subscribe to, & there’s no ‘covering letter’ with it

Funny how winter tree and hedge dieback allows you to see stuff you didnt before. On a meander on the bike, passed the Nene Valley RW station at Ferry Meadows Peterborough, noticed these in their yard...
A Karrier (id forgotten about that makes, I assumed it was perhaps a Commer..

Nice to see they've covered it at least. This station is too small to have them in display, I assume theyre just in storage there..
Daughter & myself went at dinnertimeI'm on day-off, on that Saturday, so will probably attend this show at The Motorist
The cafe/garage/workshop is along the B1222, between Sherburn-in-Elmet & Cawood
It's along the same access lane as; https://www.sherburnaeroclub.com/ (which is where I took for my best ever flight, 2,000 feet over the Yorkshire Dales, in a 4-seater!)
The legendary Squires Cafe isn't too far away either, at the western side of Sherburn-in-Elmet
