I've seen these for quiet a cheap price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Time-RXT-Road...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:1683|293:1|294:50

Are they good shoes if anybody knows?

I've bought those trainers, it seemed like a great deal considering on other sites those shoes sell for alot more.

They are not bad for an entry level shoe - the price is certainly right and they should keep your feet cool.

Once you have got used to the clip-in system you may want a ratchet fasten on the top instead of a third velcro fasten - but that's for next year anyway.

FWIW - I would recommend you go and try on some shoes first before purchasing online.

I was going to buy my shoes online but thought it pertinent to see which shoes fitted best. So off to the LBS and I tried on a couple of pairs of SIDI but decided on some Adidas shoes as they fitted the best and felt more comfortable. Although, I know I could have got them cheaper online I bought from my LBS as I believe that you should try and support your LBS where possible (also the owner happens to be a family friend  )

I have some new shoes that have near identical soles. They will take Look cleats, SPD's and I think Shimano SPD-SL. So yes they count as road shoes in my opinion

Also, could I use clipless pedals with these shoes?

I'm currently looking at these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shimano-PD-R5...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:1683|293:1|294:50

But I don't know if my shoes are SPD-R compatible.
