I was going to buy a pair, but after looking at the price I got cold feet.

Some good insoles will help, along with a thick pair of cotton sports socks and overshoes. My feet being cold i can stand, but my hands being cold!

Don't where cotton as it is very poor at wicking moisture from your skin feet included.
