I'm also looking to change my tyres and I think this thread has helped me decide on the Rubinhos.

Not sure whether to get folded or the wire bead ones. Anyone care to explain the difference other than the obvious? I understand folded are lighter. Any performance differences between the two?

Cheers.

Having used both for normal leisure riding... no.
If you was weight weeny-ing and racing then you may be a little faster due to less weight.

I'm trying the blue ones first on the Defy, and in a couple of months i will be going for the reds on the T3a. I will finally put this myth to bed ;-)

Careful with that axle Eugene
Another +1 on the Rubino Pro's... Fast rolling and greatly reduces the road buzz over my GP4000s I used to roll with.......plus they look really nice.

More bloody porn! This site's getting really disgusting when it can show naughty pictures like this!

I've got Lugano on at the mo, and have had no problems with them at all, but I will try Rubino next time.. Only because Schwalbe no longer do green (except in Ultremo)

I was after something with a bit of red in it for my Defy 3.

Admittedly I've only had a quick Google and a look on Wiggle but it seems the Rubinhos are only coloured on the 23's and not the 25's that I'd be needing?

With this in mind, would there be anything else anyone can recommend that fit my requirements? Ie. Red, 700 x 25.
