Good morning,
Good price if you're in the market for 10 speed tiagra shifters
https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/tiagra-4700-sti-lever-pair-10-x-2-speed/
I know some purists may frown at this, but at that price they could be great for a bike with much older brake levers and D/T or B/E shifters.

I really prefer the much bigger hoods that modern STI levers have over "classic" designs and there is no requirement that the STI part needs to be connected to cables.

I recently swapped from classic Shimano 600 to modern Ultegra and it did not change my life, but it is a big improvement.

Elite Direto is notoriously inaccurate, too. A lot of people report that they overreport power by around 10%, which is pretty terrible.
I'm not interested in other people's power output, but I might want to monitor my own power output to see how it changes over time.
If I remember correctly, that requires precision, but I don't need to care about accuracy.

I had no problem while belt tension gave calibration numbers close to the number on the sticker under the unit. Numbers were very close to my 4iiii.

But after being heavily used for ~4 winters and having one belt change, the flywheel became incredibly hard to turn, needing at least 150W iirc.

So I replaced it with a Saris H3 around Easter '22.

I used to race ppl on Zwift on my Neo against many with those & some will have had a 10% power advantage. In an hour long race going hard it’s like they’re on an EPO & steroid program in comparison.
