I ride a men's medium secteur... I must be a weird shape for a lady! I'm average height too.

Lady's bikes are a lot more attractive these days than when I bought mine... Some of them look absolutely cracking now. But you seem to pay a premium for buying a woman's bike, same components, more cash.

Ladies pay a premium for their WS bikes so the manufacturer can recover the cost of R&D, design and having the framebuilder tool-up for the different frame dimensions.
European Caucasian women can ride men's frame bikes without bother.

What is your Cormic Index?
People who have seen me on a bike say that my comic index is very high.

I hadn't noticed ladies bikes being more expensive than mens, if anything I found more deals on women specific bikes, but I didn't like any of them.
I was told women's bikes tended to be shorter than mens - but my hybrid is actually longer than my husbands road bike -obviously they're not the same bike so that probably has very little to do with anything, but I happened to notice mine won't fit in the same space as his.
I bought a "man's" bike and it's much more comfortable than any of the women's ones I tried. That may have something to do with it costing about £300 more though.
