Confused with pedals, cleats and shoes.

So I've been looking at purchasing these shoes: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=46674 and I'm confused as to what pedals/cleats they will fit as different sites say different things, am I just confined to "LOOK" pedals, or am I able to get SPD-SL Shimano, for instance? As different sites say different things, and the manufacturer site seems to be no help -.-.

Both SPD-SL and Look are three bolt so both will fit.

Right, thanks very much. It seems to be one of the only thing that always bewilders me is the cycling clipless pedal system, I feel like a fool, maybe once I get my first pair I'll understand them better.

We were all in a similar position once.

Shimano basically copied the design of the Look pedals when they brought out the SPD-SL..there are differences so cleats wont work with the 'wrong' pedal but at least there is compatability with fixing them to shoes. Personally i use SPD-SL they are slightly heavier but the cleats are bettter wearing if you need to do any walking.
