The Morris 1000 is the coolest

At my daughters School, there's generally a collection like that
An average day sees;
3 - 4 Range Rovers L415 models (plus the dreaded 'Sport')
2 Audi Q7's (I know one of the owners, as she's in my running club)
Porch 'whatever the 4 door 'SUV' is called (is it a 'SUX'??)
Maserati Quattroporte (?? - the 4-door saloon)
Bentleys - a Silver Spur(? - the saloon) & a GT

Heck!, one dad even came in a McLaren (not the F1, one of the models from about 2 years ago - no idea which one

One dad comes in a Morris 1000, & it gets more attention than all the rest

I wasin town locking the bike up at the start of a pedestrianised section watching a bloke turning one round in a dead end between rows of cars. I don't think rear vision is too clever as it took him ages.
My Grandad had one of the invalid cars, a real rarity though as it had a steering wheel not the tiller arrangement.

Lancia Montecarlo - Lancia solved the problem of front brakes locking up very easily by simply removing the brake servo. I do have a thing for old Italian cars. Would be nice to have an Alfa Montreal sitting in the garage.

We've had a lot of different cars over the years, including quite a variety of wierd, wonderful and exotic ones.

I once turned up to a business meeting in this, complete with all the rally graphics!




Thought it was sweet recently when my OH suggested he come shopping with me, but guess he just wanted me to park my wee Rav 4 next to him to protect his "cool" Ultima GTR.



And just to give another size comparison, here's the dog having a look

This came on the ferry behind me at Stromness last week. Bought by two older ladies who were about to drive it 700 miles home. The car was absolutely immaculate.

This one amused me, more for the parking!

Guy is an artist with an exhibition, so parks his car on the grass outside and claims it is art, thus avoiding parking charges or fines!

There was one of these lying upside down in a field next to my National School. Took me years to work out what it was. Looks like a vintage Roller that has been rear-ended by a 40 ton lorry!
