We're thinking about having a bash at Oakhampton to Lydford Granite Way... Can anyone give an idea of surface conditions?

Did it today. Surface a bit more corrugated than I remember, the usual tree root incursion, but otherwise doable. I'm on 25mm tyres, so most surfaces seem bumpy!

I had a faded TdF teeshirt on and a little lad with a red hat in the bike carrier. A very satisfactory late lunch was had at the Castle Inn at about 2

Ha! I was out and back to the car at Lydford around 12.40, so I possibly passed you on the return leg - ole geezer on a blue flat-bar Scott!
