Corrupted mov file

Hi. Does anyone know of any software, preferably open-source or freeware, that will fix corrupted movie (.mov) files?

My file copied fine from my camera to my PC, but will not play. Other files from the camera do play, so it's not a codec issue.

Not open source or free, but its one of the best solutions available. You can get a trail which will repair half the footage so you can see if it works before selecting to buy.

Yep, that's the only one I found that repaired it. Not very expensive, for the 5-repair licence.

I've managed to repair .mov files in the past by converting them in a free converter to another video format but its a time cosuming process and doesn't always work. OT I had a free trial of pay converter and it'd do the same jom in minutes which a free tool would do in almost half an hour or more!
