If you really want hair raising watch Harold Lloyd in 'Safety Last' and consider he did all the stunts in that film for real and with minimal saftey equipment.

Not quite true, as he had a stunt double for some of the stunts and there was a fair bit of props and camera placements used to give the impression he was hanging higher then he was - still impressive but not as impressive as it appears.

Lots of false perspective and ledges just out of camera shot iirc.

But the same goes for the loony in the vid.
A bloke on a bike balancing on a broom handle over a sheer and presumably death inviting drop, wtf on God's crazy Earth is that all about? It's bloody daft, that is.

Seeing someone track stand like that at a red light, having not just jumped it, now that's impressive!:becool:

I could not watch more than a few seconds.

Ditto ... I wouldn't be standing next to that edge - let alone decide to balance on a bike!!! As it is I've just come back from my ride today after seeing the Fire Brigade practising their cliff rescue technique in the Avon Gorge.

You have to wonder about people like that. Even if some of it was made to look worse than it really was.

There is no faking this though:

I've seen that one, it gives rise to my favourite quote of "look at the penalty for failure, dude"

Actually that's exactly the sort of mistake I'd make, trying to avoid that fearsome drop so vigorously ensured that he ended up going down it.
