Yesterday, my consultant said that I could ride my bike again at the beginning of January which I obviously interpret as New Year's Day.
In the meantime , I have the painful process of getting my thumb to bend, grip, press etc.
Squidgey ball ?

You're ahead of me. I had my collar bone plated 8 days ago so I'm still nowhere near getting back on the bike. Can't wait for Spring.

I don't know what stage of your rehabilitation you are at currently, but when the time comes to try and strengthen it and increase mobility, I used to use a stuff called "hand putty"...........which was really just grown-up Playdough. I'm sure Playdough would do just as well, or even the homemade version. You just hold it in your hand. You'll find it impossible not to try squidging it into different shapes.
