me too. Had my 4th jab last week. Masses of people having their boosters but nice to see a lot of 1st, 2nd and 3rd primary’s coming through.

As I understand it people with particular vulnerabilities have been getting a fourth dose for a while now.

A friend, retired midwife, has been working the vaccine centres for a year. She says they're gearing up for a second general booster in March.

No evidence just a chat with a friend.

Nurses spent a little more time with me as I’m still waiting for an ECG and bloods for heart palpitations.

Apparently, according to LA email, I will shortly be eligible for 4th jab. Immuno compromised because of CML, my 3rd dose was Third Primary. From 19th Jan I can get a booster.

Interesting. They compared the all cause mortality rate and COVID death rate between 2021 and 2025 of two groups, considering anyone who had no doses of mrna as ‘unvaccinated’, and a first dose of mrna as ‘vaccinated’. A person from the ‘unvaccinated’ group that later had a first dose of mrna was excluded.
The study only included as ‘vaccinated’ those having a first dose of mrna between May and October 2021. Further doses were not considered.
The study began recording its data six months after the start date to allow for anyone who was about to die to do so.
The study does not look at short term mortality rates. This was done in a separate study, using ‘models’.
The main causes of death were cancer (769.and 853 per million for vaccinated and unvaccinated respectively). Other causes of death saw a similar difference in numbers. COVID deaths were recorded as 18 and 85 per million, respectively.

I'm no medic and have no idea about the unsupported claims but my 1st thought is US has a lot of people and tragic as 10 deaths are, how many would have died from Covid without the vaccine program (even though children tend not to suffer as badly as adults).

Like a lot of things, as we cannot both do it, and not do it, we won’t know. We do know that the COVID vaccines were intended for the vulnerable in the population, that were to be ‘shielded’, and front line health workers.
The Case Fatality Rate for COVID is about one in a thousand, about half that for children.
Between 2021 and 2023 88 (1.4%) of the 6400 child deaths in England were reported as ‘probably’ due to COVID, the majority having ‘co-morbidities’.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but given what ended up happening to me with long covid for the last ~3.25 years, I've often wondered if I should have been less cautious at work in early '22 after my third and final vaccine jab in December '21.

By the time I next knowingly got covid again in late September '22, that vaccine protection would have waned. Around February, with the vaccine still strong in my system, maybe I would have just had a couple of rough weeks.

This is a valid thing to do when we doubt the accuracy of the recorded cause of death, as many did about covid. Unless, of course, you think vaccination make you more likely to get shot or something, then there should be the same proportion of unrelated deaths in each group, and it's the difference between the two that is the meaningful thing. To then complain about unrelated deaths being included in both groups seems somewhat odd, to put it mildly.

There's no evidence that the reported deaths are actually linked to the vaccine.

The database referenced is self reporting ie public make reports to it.

That means anyone who *believes* their child was harmed can report it, regardless as to how likely it actually was to be related.

In the FDA memo, there is no second group, as its self selecting reports from one group.

That's very useful as it can help alert to potential issues quickly, but it's absolutely not reliable evidence of any link.
