Crank set sizing

Hi there.
I bought a 46t crankset replacement for my single speed and have just realised it needs a 44t.
can I get the 46t on the bike somehow, or do I just need to buy a new 44t.

You'll need a longer chain.

You might need a longer chain - it depends upon how your chain is tensioned and what room for adjustment there is for coping with two extra teeth on the new chainring.

Perhaps telling us some details about the bike might help.
