I am afraid that I will cease to be a member if this change goes through...
I agree completely with your assessment. I have already voted with my wallet, having declined to renew my membership. After 25 years' unbroken support for the CTC I no longer have confidence in its management.

I have decided to join the CTC and have yet to receive my membership stuff and magazine (and presumably the voting slips). Assuming that it does arrive in time, how do I get a second form (gone for family membership), and how do I know if I have a correctly printed form.

You should receive a voting slip that has the names of each member of the family on it. If you don't get it by the New Year, contact Peter Jackson at National Office (peter.jackson@ctc.org.uk) and he will send you another ballot paper out.

You have until 14 January to vote.

OK so recieved it but only in Mr Summerdays name ... so presumably contact the above to be sent a additional voting slip?

Received an email saying that he out of the office until 4th Jan  so it will be a bit close perhaps for him to read and react to the email and the closing date.

Yes I have had my new paper and returned it (I hope I haven't spoilt the paper I put a tick instead of a cross in one of the boxes!!!).

All this bickering must be costing CTC dearly. i joined BC instead even though CTC would probably be more appropriate for me .

You can almost guarantee that the result (whichver way it goes) won't be accepted.....

Well, given that the revote has been handled in a completely cackhanded, biased and incompetent way by Council and National Office, I wouldn't be surprised it the results are challenged.
As this was such a contentious issue, am I alone in thinking the vote should have been counted by some independent agency, ERS or similar?

Here for rides.

count was overseen by ERS and others. Meaningless outcome as what was Motion 10 needs to be passed to change anything meaingful; but only a matter of time. a fair few members voting with their chequekbooks. I spent years encouraging all cyclists I met to join. Now I will do the opposite.
