Seen as my current buddy is giving up the road cycling seen and going back to hybrid / mountain biking I'm potentially in need of a cycling buddy or club in the Rotherham area, any offers, Or ideas?

OK so on last Sundays solo ride I met up and tagged along with a group of riders who invited me to join them again, the problem is they're a tad slow.. I was riding with their strongest rider mostly upfront and constantly had to stop and wait for people to catch up, should I persevere or look elsewhere, opinions?
