We rode back towards home and stopped part way to sit at a picnic table outside the local chippy where we enjoyed fish butties. A good ride out totaling around five miles there and back and Andrews first "proper" bike ride, at four years old he has done well.

Cycle Heaven York have racks inside next to the workshop, on my last visit they were full so the mechanic moved a bike out of the workshop stands to let me put mine in, a cafe and shop worth a visit in York.

Sainsbury's opened one of their small shops near us and our lass biked there to find no bike racks. She emailed them and they promptly installed some Sheffield stands

Similar thing happened just outside Durham City.

Sainsbury's opened a Local beside the NCN route which goes to Lanchester Valley.

I asked permission to put my bike in the lobby, which was granted.

The manager said some stands were to be installed, and next time I passed they were.
