@JonboizNot all features of the site are available to you straight away as a new member, however after your next post or two you should find a button marked "Attach Files" appears at the bottom left of the dialogue box when writing a new post.
If you click on this button and use it to select the photo in question the site software will automatically resize the copy to a size the site can cope with.

It must be a really huge file if the site software can't resize it.
You could try resizing it yourself in whatever photo editing software your device has, or it might be simpler to take another photo with the camera set to a lower resolution.

It is possible to resize the image by emailing it to yourself, and choosing “small”
