Well, in the US I have either had the full tank at a very favourable price with additional drivers, OR I have just returned the car full
I don't get too fussed about it all to be honest, just find the best price online for the car I want from a reputable company
Maybe pay a bit more and then enjoy the holiday
Given how much I spend on the US trips usually, paying £50-100 more from a good company for an all in price is neither here nor there
