Here is a copy + paste of the email that I received on Monday 21 April as I have been a customer of Thomas’ Cycle Revolution and therefore on their database.
“We wanted to let you know that, following the administration of Thomas Cycle Revolution Limited (TCR), Giant UK Limited has purchased the assets of TCR and is now responsible for your customer information.
The consequence of this is Giant UK Limited is now the data controller of your personal data which was previously provided to / held by TCR.
To confirm, your details were provided to us by the administrators of TCR which will enable us to continue to support you—whether that’s with existing and ongoing warranty, or servicing obligations or important updates.
In respect of any marketing activity carried out by us, please note your opt out / unsubscribe rights within our
Privacy Policy or alternatively contact us on ( redacted ) requesting such opt-out.
