Hi, I have a Sirrus Elite, with the original Specialized All Condition 700 x 28 tyres fitted.

Can you tell me if you can fit 700 x 23 tyres to the rims, as the rear tyre is in need of replacing.

Thanks.

Check the table at the end which gives recommended tyre sizes for a given rim width.

I have been on 700 x 23 all summer and now i am on my winter bike with 700 x 28 on, its far smoother soaking up the bumps (poor roads) i am hoping i can get the 700 x 28 on my summer bike, infact the next time i buy a new bike i am going for a cyclocross with disk brakes and bigger tyres.
As far as rolling resistence etc i cannot tell any difference.
