It will fail because it doesn't look butch. Farmers want a truck that can tow an Ifor Williams full of sheep and bully reps' cars in town, not something that looks like a De Lorean.

The Cybertruck is what happens when a billionaire surrounds himself with yes men and it's deeply unfair to the DeLorean to compare this piece of grotesquery with it.

The OG Tesla cars look good because they were designed by people who were capable of aesthetically pleasing, functional cars, rather than some halfwit with too much money, no design ability, and no-one willing or able to push back on his nonsense.

You know, what someone in the 90s thought cars would look like in the future.

Not sure how all those pointy corners would fare in the pedestrian collision tests either.
