Very disappointed. I expected to dominate this thread...

And theclaud went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night.

Ben M said:
001:001 In the beginning Ben M created the heaven and the earth.

001:002 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Ben M moved upon
the face of the waters.

001:003 And Ben M said, Let there be light: and there was light.

001:004 And Ben M saw the light, that it was good: and Ben M divided the
light from the darkness.

etc...

In the beginning, God created The Bicycle and saw that it was good. then he thought "There is nowhere for me to ride it". And that, Oh Best Beloved, is why he created the Earth

Job 34,v33
Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

Spookily, this bit came just before the verses Helen quoted in the OP, and I only picked it at random. I found Job the most impenetrable book when I read the whole OT during a religious phase as a teenager.
