Cycling glasses / sunglasses

Every pair of glasses, ever, have goggled when I stop riding from the cheapest ones to a pair of Oakleys. I have tried anti fog spray, washing in washing up liquid and every other theory to stop sunglasses fogging. Glasses fog, even my normal seeing ones do.
I find the LIDL/ALDI ones steam up very fast, sometimes if I'm just slowing down. My Endura Shark's steam up when stopped for too long and I've had a tour de
France branded pair that were similar (stopped for too long) both were around £30 IIRC. But I got a pair of Rudy Projects free from C+ several years ago and bought 2nd hand Oakley Jaw Breaker and none of them steam up. So for me, more expensive lenses/frames perform better but we are all different :okay:

Just to add to the steamy up thing, Yes the Tyrant 2.0's steam up a little too, but they clear very very quickly.

Mmmm, I was thinking about safety glasses as the local DIY place does a reasonable range...

Surprised no-one has mentioned them yet (I think), but try Screwfix or Toolstation - they both do wrap round tinted safety specs with UV protection that are idea for the bike if you don't need prescription lenses at very sensible prices - like these at £4.99 http://www.screwfix.com/p/site-2103-smoke-lens-safety-specs/1639k or these DeWalt ones for £5.99 http://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-protector-pro-smoke-lens-safety-specs/8781t

There's a screwfix up the road. Need to go in there for some furniture polish as they do the big tins of the stuff. Thanks for the heads up. :okay: Like the fact that they've got UV protection as well.

No problem - in fact I've just spotted these on promotion:

If I didn't need prescription lenses I'd tempted to get a pair myself

Mmmmm yeah, I'll certainly consider them... Only slight spanner in the works is I'm not a fan of overly dark lenses, so deffo a case of try before I buy. I have some very nice sunglasses for driving, but wouldn't dare wear them on the bike.

I wear Ray Ban aviators, they are cool and cover not only my eyes, but half my face, I am not wearing cycling sun glasses.
