i wear Oakley jaw bones,I look like ali g when i wear the yellow but i prefer the yellow to clear which i got from the states,
also as i shoot i have pilla shooter specs and you change the lenses depending on the light conditions

I have Oakley Radarlock XL's .. Again, not cheap but they are absolutely spot on. Rather buy once with a high initial cost than buy multiple cheaper ones.
Orange ones, I have found, work great in dull light.

I have a cheap pair from ebay which came with a zillion different coloured lenses. I only use the sunglasses ones and the yellow ones.
Has anyone tried cycling glasses with the prescription inserts? I normally just wear my contacts but fancy having a choice. They look like they might be really heavy so was wondering what people thought.

I use inserts with Adidas Evil Eye half rims. No issues with weight and it makes in much cheaper if your prescription changes.

I've got some photo chromatic Rudy Project glasses. They are great.....and even make me look a tad sporty.

I have been looking at the Rudy`s myself Rocky.I bought a new Rudy lid last month which is great and now need a pair of Photochromatic spex.Which set do you wear Rocky and would you recommend them to me,does the light changing change much and how quick?

Red lenses are also for low light conditions they flatten backgrounds and pick out specific things. Yellow are good in low light but in the dark they are not as good as clear.

You see, the problem with the swear autocorrect on this site is I no longer read 'shoot' as 'shoot' and this really wasn't saying what you intended it to first time round...

I believe my Oakley M frames had a red lens as one of the options, but I can't remember what it was meant for. It made it really easy to see if people were starting to catch the sun though...

My RadarLock's came with a red/pink lens. Have been fine for night riding though.

Apart from yellow, orange, clear and grey, I also use blue lenses for winter time when its bright and lots of snow on the ground. Being a bit of a clumsy sod, I could never trust myself with expensive ones but buy the brand Rayzor glasses, cheap as chips on Ebay and easy to buy a range of lenses.

Mine are a year or so old not sure if they still do this model, but it's only the frame changes.

Smart looking glasses Derrick.How would you rate the speed of which the lens changes from light to dark and do you notice them doing it while riding.I really like these specs now and may go out and get them if they work as suggested?.

Oh,and how tough are they.More than once i have sat on my cheapo ones when i have left them on the saddle after a pee break or a little stop.?

They react very quickly, you don't actually see them react it just changes, and they bounce well, i have never sat on them so can't help with that one. But i have walked into a cafe or a bar and forgot i had them on, I would recommend them 100%, As said before one pair of glasses for all conditions, At night they go completely clear, i do a lot of riding in the dark and wear them all the time.
