Anyone done it, especially on a regular basis?
Cycling friend is looking at moving there and is wondering what it's like to cycle in, especially if he considers commuting by bike if it proves to be practical.
I was there a couple of years back - i was told that cycling in Prague was a no no due to the trams and the enclosed nature of many of the roads - which when I got to the centre that seemed to be the truth - the next day I set out sans bike to explore the city using the excellent public transport system - However, on reflection if I had been a bit more familiar with Prague I could easily have used the bike
My recollections include the cobbled streets and motor vehicle emissions which would not be acceptable in the UK. However, I'm sure it would be no worse than the UK for commuting once you had learned the local geography.
