looks like me next.. ...just received my appointment date 18th aug to get my left eye worked on poss means 7 weeks off the bike like last year when they did my right eye... just a note to all, take great care of your eye's don't miss any check ups its not worth it

No prayers from this atheist, but every best wish for a speedy recovery. The cool thing if they do it by keyhole you'll look like you've been shot. The young really like that in my friend who had it done some years ago.

I had a phone call the other day, and the result is that I'm going in for my surgery (cholecystectomy) on Monday morning.
They are hoping to do it via keyhole, and if so, I could be out the same night.
If it requires the open surgery, I'll be in for a week with a longer recovery time.

Your prayers/thoughts would be much appreciated.
I know they'll take good care of me but my long list of drug reactions could make it unpleasant...fingers crossed all goes smooth and I'm back here and back on the bike, before too long!
