If you haven't heard Dan Lloyd from GCN is joining team data dimension qhuebka we don't know if this is a april fools joke due to team data dimension annoucing it on there website aswell. He will be coaching the new talent they have plus road.cc have also got round to putting it on there website so its looking more convincing as every hour goes by.

Hopefully it will be just a april fools joke

If he had taken up a straight coaching role I would be less circumspect. He is 35 so it is possible though, Chris Horner was 41 when he won the Vuelta although there are lots of rumours about possible doping. On balance it is equally likely to be an April Fool.

He's a nice enough bloke but Dimension Data are a cut above where he was at his peak and he's posted on Twitter many times about his lack of fitness now and no longer being able to discern his belly button. Odd April fool's or @rich p will eat his hat again

Good news Dan has announced his retirement this evening from team data dimension qheubka and will be rejoining the broadcast team at GCN. What an impressive record for his come back in 2016 an unbeaten record!!!!!
