Dazzled by bikes rear light.

Ah that old chestnut! Dazzled by the sun? Some TNT white van driver pulled that one on me two years ago and it was in the middle of summer with the sun not even low in the sky. Fairplay he did pay for some new forks, wheel and brake fitting that he trashed though I was a bit shaken up at the time for sure.

I had meetings I needed the car for yesterday so drove back along one of the routes I regularly cycle. One cyclist on a dark country lane was using a cheapo light probably with old batteries. It wasn't great. Then saw about half a mile up the road a bright red light on flash, couldn't miss it. Was it dazzling? hell yes. Did it impair my ability to drive or see where the cyclist was? nope. The journey was topped by a third cyclist, white light on the front, flashing blue on the back!
