DEDa seat clamp bolt size

Ive managed to round off the bolt for the seat clamp part of my seatpost and have since stupidly misplaced it, does anyone know the size of the bolt i need, m6/7 or 8 x ??mm

It's a rsx 01 seat post

It should be easy to measure if you have a vernier, which I assume you don't? In that case, we'll give you some clues.
1) M7 doesn't exist other than in some special cases, so you can rule that out.
2) M6 is too thin for a single bolt system and is usually used in pairs.
3) M8 is strong enough for a single bolt system.
4) Stainless steel bolts are not strong enough for seat clamp use. It should be high tensile.
5) The bolts in question are technically called socket cap screws or just "cap screws".

Having said that, can't you just buy one of each? A spare bolt is hardly going to break the bank and will come in handy at some stage.
