Funny how there's no mention of obesity or poor diets in England. They were having a right old laugh about it on 5Live about it, and even advertising a similarly terrible thing called the Gut Buster in Brighton.

I'd give deep fried butter a go.

When I was little and had a sore throat/cold my dad would make balls of butter using a melon scoop and roll them in sugar as a "cure". I have no idea if it worked or not but there's clearly something hereditary about it as MiniRM's current thing is liking margarine off a knife...
