Define a beard

I am now a fully bearded cyclist.

For me, I've always enjoyed stubble, and the transition from stubble to beard started when it got a bit tatty looking and I decided that instead of having a full shave I'd just tidy the neckline and the cheekbone region.

Now the decision to move from stubble to full beard on a permanent basis was in NO way at all linked to the lovely, attractive, sexy girl in the office telling me how much she liked a man with a beard...

A beard is something only a man can grow. Therefore anything counts. Just don't do those silly pencil lines from the side burns down. Ya might as wall paint them on.

When you wake up inthe morning with no memory of the night before and can pick out enough evidence out of your beard to to reconstruct the evening - THAT is a real beard

It's a good question.
I like to think that I'm date-able enough without... and merely enhanced by the beard.
