Appears to be illegal to use on public roads in the UK anyway as it has a 1000W motor and a throttle.

In the interests of your health and safety, I really wouldn't be going faster than 15 mph on that pile of junk. Looks as it's not UK legal anyway as video's show it being ridden without pedalling.

If you want to go faster get a road bike and train or buy a moped after passing the pertinent tests

Interestingly - and I could be wrong here - it's not road legal to begin with because of its 1000W motor. So would de-restricting it just make it "still illegal" or would it be "even more illegal"
