Interested and if you can fix the date I'll try to make sure it stays free (if it already is).

Be warned though that I can't usually average more than 11 mph over anything like 50 miles, and can't start fast either.

Edit. Also what day would it be? I might be able to make a Saturday and I have checked the trains and I can get to Exeter St Davids for about 9.40am although it would mean an early start.

I'm on hols during the first week in August and wonder whether you would habe any good routes to suggest 30 to 50 miles in the south Devon area? So I'll miss your 14 Aug ride which I would have liked to come on if I'd been around, never mind - next time I hope!

I've rented a cottage near Burgh Island, south of Kingsbridge.

I'd be grateful for any help with the routes.

I'll post it now! 10:00am at Exeter St.David's Station, aiming to set off at 10:30am

There's loads of parking (not free) at the station if anyone needs it.
Once we've figured out the route we'll post it here too.

I've managed to find a ticket just for me at £34.50 on Trainline.com but at the moment I am struggleing to find out how to book the bike onto the train or wether I just turn up with it. Once I have sorted out transporting the bike I will confirm wether I will be coming or not.
